About Us

I have always wanted to be a photographer ever since I was little.  I loved cameras!  I received my first 35 mm camera when I was 10 years old.  I thought it was the coolest thing ever!  I remember that same year I wrote that I wanted to be a photographer, have my own shop, and have a monkey!  Well, I got 2 out of the 3.  But I do have 2 kids that I call my monkeys so I guess all of my dreams did come true!

When I went to college for some reason, I forgot about my dreams and ended up going to Manchester College for a business degree.  It was the end of my freshman year that I remembered my dream to be a photographer.  I took all the classes I could on photography which was 2!  But after I graduated, I always longed to take pictures.  I lived in Indianapolis during that time and had access to a dark room and various classes.

It wasn’t until I was married with two young children living in Tiffin, OH that I finally found my niche.  I also was going through a very rough period of time with my health.  But during that period of time is when I found my God-given talent and things started falling into place.

I did my first art show in 2008 and have been doing them nonstop ever since.  I love meeting new people, telling my story, and hearing about others.  

I took a lot of these pictures without knowing I was going to be scripture on them.  Then in 2009, I woke up one day and decided that’s what I have to do.  I know that the verse is how I’m feeling when I took the picture.  It is amazing how things worked out and continue to do so.
