For God has NOT given us a spirit of fear

I've never been around bison before so when my friend told me her son has a bison farm, I, of course, had to go take pictures. My first attempt wasn't good. As soon as we pulled up to the farm, my daughter called me from college saying she broke her foot. So needless to say, I attempt a few pictures but my heart was just not in it. She is about 9 hours away and I'm not a huge fan of hospitals (long story). But she is blessed with an awesome roommate who helped her. So in the end, everything worked...

Well, we made it! I would say the first 9 months was a success! Thank you to all of you that helped support our new endeavor either by visiting us, spreading the word, sharing our posts, etc. Jason and I really appreciate everything you have done. We always say we have the BEST customers! After discussing things, we decided to be OPEN one more day which is December 29 from 10-6. We will then OPEN again sometime in February. During this time off, we will be working on our displays, finding new products, taking new pictures, and relaxing. If you...
Walk by Faith

Recently, a customer asked me if it took a lot of faith to open our store. I laughed. The last 15 years of my life have been about taking crazy leaps, having lots of faith and also waking up at 3am thinking what have I done! I didn't even understand but now I know I was just starting my journey and God was preparing me for something special. I'm still on that journey and it...
Apples

Last night I realized that it's been a long time since I last blogged! As I was thinking what I should write about, I thought about my apples. We have these apple trees in the backyard of the store. I looked forward to them. They are never perfect. Actually they are probably the worse looking apples I have ever seen! They are always slightly odd looking with holes and bruises and all different colors. We have never had time to really take care of them plus I like organic food. So in my mind, I think these are truly...
When One Door Closes, Another One Opens

Our new store will be open soon! God must want me to work on patience! I wanted to be open by now but we are waiting on a few things and I'm trying to be patient. It's all good. The main thing we are waiting on is the glass for the windows and doors but in the meantime it will give us plenty of time to get the displays together. We have a lot of new products coming in! I have a lot of artist friends that make beautiful, unique items along with all natural things such as lotions, lip...
